The Minister held talks with Helpage International Delegations

(24 Feb. 2023) Minister of Women and social affairs,Dr.ErgogieTesfaye held a meeting with Helpage team members leads by Mr.Gregor Sneddon, HelpAge Canada CEO, in her office.

Dr.Ergogie has welcomed the delegates and appreciated for the commitment made by Helpage international. She also acknowledged the strong supports of Helpage International on senior citizens so far and hopping its long last cooperation in supporting the elderly building center.

Mr.Gregor, in his part, appreciating the activities of Ethiopian government on the protection senior citizen’s and tells his great interest to support Ethiopia elders. Hence, he proposes to see the project of the building and its cost breakdown and support on some parts of the center.

State minister w/ro Ayelech in her part appreciating the helpage on it contributions and hopped that this strong relation will last with the ministry since the government has limited resource to do every social protection, she said.
